Wai kru lumpinilla. Vaikka Lumpini onkin pieni paikka, sulloutuu sinne arviolta 5000 - 7000 katsojaa joka perjantai ja lauantai. Mestari tai ennakkosuosikko ottelee aina punaisissa ja vedonlyönti suhde on hänelle alussa pienempi. Lähes kaikki katsojat lyövät vetoa muiden katsojien kanssa ja kannustavat raivoisasti suosikkiaan. Joka kerta kun oma suosikko saa osuman, pauhahtaa vedonlyöjien suusta äänekäs  "oi " huuto. Vastustaja taas yrittää kuitata osumaa ja kun saa osuman vastapuolelta kajahtaa oi - huuto. Kun ottelu on yhtä osumien ilotulitusta on 5000 - 7000 päisen oi-huutoa huutavan hornankattilan keskellä kokemus joka ei unohdu seuramatkalaiseltakaan.
